Oommen Chandy

Former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy is a well-known member of the Indian National Congress. From 2004 to 2006 and again from 2011 to 2016, he was Kerala’s Chief Minister. He served as the opposition’s leader in the Kerala Legislative Assembly from 2006 until 2011. After finishing high school at St. George High School in Puthuppally, he went on to CMS College in Kottayam and St. Berchman’s College in Changanassery to further his studies. The Government Law College in Ernakulam also awarded him an LLB.

He started his Political Career with the Kerala Students Union and rose to the top as Chief Minister. He Handled Significant state Ministries before being Elected CM, including Finance, Home, and Labor. He was named Secretary General of the All India Congress Committee, in charge of the vital state of Andhra Pradesh, by Congress President Rahul Gandhi On June 6, 2018.
